To develop ICT skills to enable people to access professional employment and career opportunities requiring the use of ICT.

To work in partnership with the community and business to develop a range of challenging training courses to meet the needs of the local area.

Hyde Technology Training

Hyde Technology Training is operated by the ICT staff on behalf of Hyde Technology School as a service to the community and to business in Tameside and East Manchester.  It was established in 1998.

With 180+ modern Pentium� networked computers, a wide range of peripherals including multimedia, scanners, digital cameras, data logging and control technology equipment, and a 2MBit communications link to the Internet, Hyde Technology Training draws on the expertise of some of the most highly skilled ICT educators in the North of England.

Specialised training activities, tailored to the needs of your organisation, can be provided to your specific requirements.  In addition a range of training packages are available for a fraction of the normal commercial rates.

Hyde Technology Training is approved by the British Computer Society as a training centre for the European Computer Driving Licence� qualification.

All trainers are qualified and experienced teachers with additional edult education expertise.
